My first time at this event and I liked it. The area is beautiful as you run along the lake most of the race, until the race director wants to make it interesting and sends you up the 'steep' hillside(think CVNP Perkins Loop) many times! :-) The course was very well marked, it included a lot of sections of rocks to skip through, the aid stations were well managed, and the staffing was very friendly.
