Won my AG!

 This was the first tri since the heart surgery. Also the first tri since becoming a parent. Also, only the second race in two years, again due to the heart problems.  Needless to say, I wasn't expecting much, but...surprise! I won my AG. I've done this race before, and it was not a hot as normal. I really suffer in the heat on the run. Today though I felt strong through the entire (short) run. I knew during it was going to be a better result than I expected going in, but to come first was a shocker. You can only race the ones who show up, as they say. Anyway, this qualified me for Nationals, so Cleveland, here I come. I look forward to seeing all of you!
