July 11, 2018 - In short - it was not my day.
I had aches and pains early on and by mile 20 I really labored, which is very early on for a 100. At the turn around at Lock 3 at mile 40 I wanted to drop but my friend Rich doing timing for the race convinced me to fight longer so I went out did 5.5 more miles and then tuned around so completed 51 of the 100 I wanted to. Some days are just like that I guess. I hope the next time will be easier.
