Finally got to ride in the Twin Sizzler In town on the 4th for the first time in more than a decade. Well organized with course marshals in the right place (mostly...at least one major intersection untended. Finished 1st out of about 20 in my age group.

In town on the 4th for the first time in more than a decade.  So, I figured, why not?  Well organized with course marshals in the right place (mostly...at least one major intersection untended.   Some of the age group times were missed because the riders put their bib numbers on their sides or backs (me included).  The instructions were specific on using the front of the jerseys but it's seems likely that the bikers assumed (I did) that the "front of the jersey" directive was for the 5k and 10k runners.  Finished 1st out of about 20 in my age group...two of us got off the front about a mile in and no one came after us.  Finished 34th out of 143 males.  Not dead yet I guess.
