Ohio senior games state championships.  These races serve as a qualifier for Nationals next year.  Very different tme trials this year.  Both time trials were in downtown Portsmouth.  They were actaually set up like an urban crit.  In the 5K we had two laps and each lap had 9 turns.  Most of the turns were 90 degrees.  Times overall were a little slower than normal because of all the cornering and rough roads.  But we all raced on the same circuit.  I was not able to peddle through most of the corners.  A few guys washed out trying to take the turns too fast.
