Turns out that the American Geophysical Union holds a 5k fundraiser in the middle of the conference week. cool!

I was unprepared for this race - I didn't have any warm clothes. So I ran in my leggings from the day before and my tank top that I had for the gym. My leggings kept falling down. Not recommended running attire. My indoor training only gym clothes would have been better, though I would have been cold. Still, cool that the conference had a 5k midweek.
