| Tour of the Valley Criterium
7/11/2010 | Great race today! The course was a little tight at times with the turns and the islands on the main drag. I was stupidly expecting 60 laps instead of 60 mins, so the race went pretty quick. It was hard to get into position and even harder to maintain it once there. I was nowhere near being able to contest the sprint, and was a little hesitant after narrowly avoiding two crashes in front of me. The highlight of the day was winning the raffle for the Mercury Zeus road frame set! | Gary Burkholder |
