| Deer Creek Olympic Triathlon
6/6/2010 | First Tri of the year. WINDY! 1 hour delay for a massive thunderstorm and downpour. Just lovely conditions! I had a so-so swim (52nd overall), really focused on pushing the bike leg to see how all this group bike riding has paid off... I negative split the 40k bike course (12th overall) by putting my head down, and pushing hard through the wind, and being sure to push hard with the tailwind too. When I came in to start the run, I could see Durno starting his run. I was pleased with my run leg (15th overall) and I pushed hard and consistenly throughout. | Ken Hagan |
